Believe it or not, I’ve been blogging for the past four years. And sometimes I am still wondering where this blog will be heading to? Blogging for me is more about writing sentimental things about your silly life [My own life specifically].Only until a month ago I start to think that maybe [well just maybe] that blogging could be a source to make a living, don’t you think? Or at least that’s what those famous successful bloggers told and prove us. I think that is a good idea for a pennyless single woman like me. But I still don’t plan on having amount of money and many visitors visit my personal blog will define what I will post here.

I’m slowly starting to realize that I’ve subscribed to a very particular brand of lifestyle brought by my main job to this blogging. It all became clear when I wrote hotel reviews for California Hotel Bandung and Favehotel Bandung few days ago in E-Magazine that I work for.

I had this odd sense of comfort. The type of comfort that comes with the fact that I can write hotel review and product review that I think I can’t do back then. So I wish it’s a good start.

And this busy life won’t stop me to write and to post in my personal blog. And just because you have busy life, doesn’t mean you stop exercising, doesn’t mean you stop visiting your loved ones, and doesn’t mean you stop reading etc…Does Kim Kardashian stop putting on mascara just because she doesn’t have a mirror? Same thing, I don’t stop writing about what I am passionate about just because I have busy work.

Busy life, can’t stop us.

Some pictures diaries that I have just created recently. Enjoyyyy

Baby! It's Beautiful Outside

Bandung has been raining a lot this recently and sometime it’s pretty much annoying especially if you don’t have your umbrella with you but there is always something special in the rain and cold weather, whether the smell of wet grass in the morning, the sensation sleeping under your warm blanket accompanied by the sound of the pouring rain outside in the evening or fetch out your favorite jumpers that you have been hiding in your closet waiting for the right weather to wear them or warming your tummy with hot soup/tea/coffee. But I know that for some people cold weather makes life more difficult. Sorry for that….lol

Yesterday the sun was shining so bright, I didn’t have any better idea than went to the county side garden. Since not only because it’s a beautiful but it’s located in the hill so it’s exactly a place that I want to visit in a long time. As I walked down the street, I feel like I was in a balcony for I can see a cloud would wash right through town and chill its bone and I feel like i were watching over the whole world, wonderful it was :)

It’s still fresh in my mind how when I was a little girl I used to grow my small garden with variety of flowers that I got stolen from the forest next to my village and how I used to go to the rice field miles away with my parents and brothers to grow seasonal plants such as paddy, corn, vegetables and cucumber. Spending hours watering them and then bringing home overflowing baskets of our own field produce.

And as I sat down on the hut waiting for the dawn, how weird or maybe ironic I think how something that was so ordinary for me now become something extraordinary. Got to admit that everything does change! Change itself was born in the very same moment as universe, time, earth and mankind. And as a human, we sometimes waste our life and time denying change and as a result, those who can't accept change will live in suffering and will not truly living as Darwin once said that “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.” So it's way better if we have to learn to live with it just as we have learned to live and endure the storms.

Bintan Garden Resort

So yeah, I finally went out of my beloved city. The mad lady who usually writes here was having great time in every corner of Bintan Garden Resort with pair of neon flat shoes for putting ‘walk for fun’ in a sentence. Hear me out though, practically everything in this resort is drop dead gorgeous. When I sat by the pool early in the morning, ready to embrace the beauty of sunrise, I heard myself was talking to The Mad Lady(My self) saying“Damn, I wish it’s my private holiday, i want to jump off to the pool so bad”. Yeah…it’s not a holiday, it’s an errand, a duty. But I made the best of it for sure and it’s such a great opportunity for me since I was there for covering this MetaMan Iron Distance Triathlon 2012. One of the biggest Triathlon events in Southeast Asia. There were more then 250 professional Athletes from 35 countries that consist of 193 male and 37 female. This event combines swim, bike and run. MetaMan stands for the courage to attempt and the conviction that if the mind is willing the body will follow. I couldn’t agree more with the philosophy. Set your mind so that you can set your action.

Let me help by saying how feel fantastic it is to be here. To me, this is where my favorite things lies on (wonderful nature, beautiful resort, amazing weather, great sports and good looking athletes (should I tell that they have great muscles too).

How annoying it's when you on your duty with that name tag written (indonesia.travel) hanging on your neck screaming "Don't flirt, you are working under Indonesian Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry valued name".

Almost 80% the land of Bintan Island is forest and the rest is villages and resorts. The journey was one half an hour from Jakarta by daily flights. By the time I were out of the Tanjung Pinang airport, Bintan’s capital city, I craned forward determined not to miss a single thing in Bintan.

A massive thank you to Indonesia's Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry for the most generous invitation.

What a wonderful experience!!!
